In agreement with WP4 schedule in 22 of January 2010, an intercultural exchange has taken place in University of Art of Bucharest. It have taken part engineer Gheorghe Samoila from ITC Bucharest, coordinator of ITC team, part of the SCIENAR Consortium, and Prof. Dr. Dragosh Gheorghiu, Lector Dan Popovici, assistant Costel Chisea at the chair of Design of the University, Assistant Liana Svintiu at the chair of Ceramics, assistant Radu Damian and Dr. Adrian Serbanescu self standing artist in Decorative Arts, all from the University of Art from Bucharest, Silent Partner in the project.

Engineer Samoila presented a material connecting Geometry with Art including the Golden Section, exchanging views with specialists about the beauty of mathematically created graphics and their artistic potential. Through an intensive exchange of ideas, the artists showed openness to mathematics and have decided to implement mathematic ideas and suggestions into works of art that will be created and prepared for the exhibition which will take place in Bucharest between 31 of May- 6 of June 2010. The UNART team has decided to attract students to this project for participating actively to the exhibition organization. Engineer Samoila promised to bring forth new ideas after the meeting with the SCIENAR team during APLIMAT session in Slovakia, especially concrete results obtained by Technical University of Bratislava using the Mathematica Program. Therefore, a new intercultural exchange will be held after Aplimat in the week 8-13 February 2010 that will provide new scientific documenting material for artists.
